A loaded gun
so I just turned 16 about a month ago, and got my license (which i still cannot spell correctly without a spellcheck) on the day after that. It was really exciting, and its so cool to have all that freedom. We drove to starbucks after that, it was way in the negative degrees that day, so far the coldest day of the season, and there was ice everywhere, and it was pretty bad driving conditions to have to take the test in.
I banged 2 cones on maneuverability and got 10 points off out of the 26 points alloted, so it wasnt too bad. lined up badly to start with, sorta threw me off for the whole thing. Anyway though, I got no points off on the road test, which was over in like 3 and a half minutes.
totally got sidetracked there :o so we went to starbucks, got the apple cider caramel thing, which was wayyy too sweet and quite delicious :D Mind you, this was all of a month ago, but I found this beastly pic on my phone of a big, half-broken-off sheet of ice on the window of the store, which had the shadow of a tree being cast upon it, almost perfectly in the lines. It was just like, whoa! in your face, haha. (and this was a pain to upload, had to send it to tinypic from my phone because I no longer have a memory card adapter to put them directly on the computer.)
If a car is a loaded gun, then I'm a pacifist, or maybe a conscientious objector. Or something... I'm trying to make this joke work, but it doesn't quite want to gel.
Glad to see you back in the blogging habit! We'll take good care of Mom while she's in Chicago and we promise to send her back...for a price.

Adam, do you know what? I didn't think you had begun writing in your blog again yet because your posts are not coming through in my "followers" reading list along with all the others. I wonder if one of us has to do something to kick-start that again? Why don't you poke around and get back to me on this. Along this line, when my posts appear in your "followers" reading list do they ever have the posted photo/art with them? They don't in my own list (I signed on to see how they come through), and some other blogs also don't come into the list with photos.....
This brought back bad memories of my driving test(s)....need I say any more than that?!
