Mary Worth: Falling apart
I was reading the comics today, and what on earth is up with Mary Worth???
I never really liked it to begin with; its too soap opera-y, and each strip really accomplishes nothing on its own. Every day theres only like 2 boxes, and something only really gets done once a week. And then there's her recent fight with Jeff or whatever his name is. She would never do that, and the entire thing is so very predictable. Im tired of reading mediocre comic strips with typical, predictable plot lines. Maybe its time to get some new writers...

We don't get Mary Worth in our paper. Last year the paper ran a special section for one week that had all the strips they were considering making its new lineup. These included the ones we'd become used to reading as well as lots of new ones. We got to vote online for which we wanted to stay. It was so darned democratic it was great. There was one weird one that I loved (forgot the name) that got dropped, but some new ones were added that have been good additions to my morning laugh.
Do you draw? Could you develop your own comic strip?
